My fiance and I went on getaway for the first time last September and all of us traveled to a foreign endpoint.
We happily spent more than 2 weeks discovering locales that all of us only saw in books and atlases our whole lives.
We had an amazing time on the getaway and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone. While all of us were abroad, our fiance found some furniture that she wanted to get all the way back home. The French furniture wasn’t even extravagant… In fact, all of us only paid a couple of hundred american dollars that morning for a five piece set of french furniture. I was ecstatic about the purchase until the moment when I realized that it was going to cost an arm and a leg to ship everything back to our home in the states. My fiance and I had to max out a debit card to be able to send all of the items back home. We really did not expect to spend so much on a new set of French furniture, but there was no way that all of us could leave the lovely items sitting on the side of the road. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to take a big piece of France back home with us and if that meant maxing out our debit card to properly ship our items back home, then that is exactly what our fiance and I were going to do with our cash. We have all of the furniture set up in the residing room and all of us have completely filled the room with other items that make the locale look like a French Bistro. It’s a very wonderful conversation starter when our fiance and I entertain friends or family.
